Your Parks, Your Say Survey
As part of the new Trafford Star awards for Parks
we are asking the people of the borough to give us
their thoughts on our parks and greenspaces. We really
want to know what the parks users think of them. We
will then use the results to rate the parks and
improve them going forward.
The results from the survey will constitute around one
third of the Star Awards full score, the other two
thirds being made up from independent external
inspection (twice yearly) and a green flag style
formal judging exercise including councillors and ward
members.
The scheme will embrace 42 parks and green spaces,
ranging from our flagship parks to less obvious but
important and well used sites such as the Stretford
Mall surrounds
The survey is a national "Best of breed " survey by
Greenstat which will also allow us to directly compare
our parks against those of other authorities.
